Established in 2013, Peace India Foundation is a recognized NGO with more than five years of experience with a focus on ensuring access to quality education, healthcare, development and empowerment of marginalised people all over India. Our mission is to empower common people through training and action, with a special focus on connecting people on the ground, especially, women to ensure their rights and our vision is to achieve a healthy society that respects their rights.
Alongside Peace India Foundation is also striving towards education of children with a belief that education is both the ‘means’ as well as the ‘end’ to a better life. Education is the most effective tool in building a strong base for all-round personal development and emancipation from the vicious cycle of ignorance, poverty and disease. Besides, Foundation’s empowerment programmes, work to impart civic responsibilities and duties among children toward the society and nation.
We believe that education of children is incomplete without a necessary support to the mothers. The foundation works relentlessly in promoting basic rights and health care facilities for mothers and seeks to engage with the challenges such as inequality, discrimination and lack of access to opportunities within the society. Peace India Foundation over the years has made meaningful intervention by supporting family health, livelihood, and women empowerment. Children, their families and the community have been the target group of Foundation's activities as child education cannot be achieved in isolation. Education can transform the lives of children in the community by ensuring their access to quality education, healthcare and protection.
